1-When did you get started in cleaning/janitorial business how/why?
I started in the Janitorial business August 2007. The vision was my wife and myself to start a business with limited start up cost and rewarding returns.
2-What do you find to be your biggest challenge of running your business?
The biggest challenge for running my business is having employees to be as serious and concerned as I am about the business.
3- Where do you expect your business to be, 10 years from now?
I expect in 10 years that the business will be at a position that is generating over $75,000 a month, and the capability to have people in place that can run the business in my absence.
4- What are your feelings of the janitorial / cleaning industry?
I feel that every business needs cleaning and the janitorial industry is a lucrative income and a booming business.
5- If you could change anything about your business, what would it be?
I would like to make changes on some of the bids that I may have placed in the past, that were not selected.
6-Are you adding any new services or equipment that will benefit your customers?
Yes, I am adding more carpet cleaning equipment to handle bigger jobs. We were currently using Power Flite portable Black Max units. Now currently moving to truck mount systems. We are now certified as a green clean facility service provider.
7-Describe how you use IJCSA to benefit your business? or the benefits you enjoy.
IJSCA benefits my business as a reference point for others to see that we are concerned about the industry we work in.
8-Tell us something about you not related to cleaning, family, cars, things you enjoy.
I enjoy riding motorcycles, those are the times that I can free my mind from stress of the everyday workday. I also enjoy playing the guitar. |
